We're not a traditional gallery — elite, closed off. I believe art is for everyone, which is why we're in the metro, in public space, and our exhibitions focus on topics that resonate in contemporary society.
We support young artists and students from art schools — here and abroad. I'm convinced that's exactly where Czech art belongs. And I'll do everything I can to get it there even more.
We believe contemporary art should be accessible to everyone — regardless of age, education or profession. Traditional galleries put up barriers. We break them down.
In 2022 I was standing one evening in the metro at Náměstí Republiky, staring at an empty shop window. A former currency exchange that ripped off tourists. Dark, messy, nothing more. That evening I knew we'd turn that space into a gallery. For people, not elites.
